We are very happy to host another PechaKucha at The Bridge. We love to get together as a community and celebrate so many amazing talents we have here at Green School and beyond.
The PechaKucha 20×20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop, and presenters got 400 seconds to tell their story, with visuals guiding the way.
This edition happens as part of the art festival. We are super excited to celebrate great artists in the community. We have an inspiring lineup and you can not miss the opportunity to get inspired, engage with other community members, and just have fun together.
We will also organize a lunch together for those who want to pre-order by our amazing Soogi Roll friends.
Eszter Cseke & Andras S. Takacs
Eszter Cseke and Andras S. Takacs have filmed in more than 100 countries from the Arctic Circle to the Amazon, creating award-winning documentaries for worldwide distribution, focusing on current affairs, tribes, environmental issues, history, and family inherited trauma. They filmed with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, Jane Goodall, Dr Gabor Mate, Dr Edith Eva Eger, Salman Rushdie, Wim Wenders, the Dalai Lama, and Pope Francis. The filmmakers received several international recognitions including the Press Freedom Award in Strasbourg from the Council of Europe and the Golden Nymph for Best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival from Prince Albert.
Kipper Eldridge
Kipper is a highly accomplished producer, musician, writer, and programmer, known for his work with a wide range of artists including, Sting, Mary J Blige, James Morrison, Richard Marx, Stevie Wonder, Clay Aiken, Shawn Colvin, Gary Numan, and Connie Talbot. The albums he has produced have sold over 14 million copies and he has won both Grammy and Emmy awards for his work.
Carol Da Riva
Many people don’t know that before working at Gren School, Carol Da Riva worked for 16 years as a documentary photographer. Carol has traveled on assignment to more than 30 countries documenting culture, ethnic minorities, environment, tourism, arts, and architecture. Her work was published in Brazilian and international newspapers and magazines such as National Geographic, TAM Inflight Magazine, Marie Claire, Elle, Eurobike, and Horizonte Geográfico, among others.
