As a part of the soft landing program by the Green School Bali to all new parents, The Green School Parent Association (GSPA) was talking at The Bridge, presenting the Living in Bali session.
Adapting and adjusting to a new environment is not always easy and can be challenging. However, as a whole community at the Green School, parents should not be worried because GSPA can be a supporting system to support the transition.
The Living in Bali session itself provided a technical introduction to living on this beautiful island. The 4 speakers representing GSPA prepared key different topics:
1. Karen Nicholas: Housing and household staff,
2. Dave Campbell: Transportation options including drivers and hiring vehicles,
3. Sally Lewis: Healthy living and sustainability,
4. Meg Pearson: All things medical,
5. Ibu Darwi: Indonesian culture

All the key topics presented were very applicable, rich, and necessary. Small tips were given from taking an adequate amount of rest to keep yourself fit from the Bali’s heat to big deals recommendations on paying housing staff based on local’s minimum wage.
If you missed it, catch up on the whole session through the video recording at The Bridge’s Youtube account. We hope it may help your life transition can go smoother.
