Bali is in a building boom with lots of precious nature being sacrificed for big concrete developments. Yet there are ways to build sustainably enhancing nature more than impacting by making sure the right sustainable materials are used, there is less ground closure, and the existing natural environment is taken into consideration and is further enhanced.
Florian Holm – After starting his career in consulting at BCG in Zurich, he followed his entrepreneurial passion first working at Lazada, a SEA e-commerce player. That brought him to Indonesia in 2016, where he served as the co-CEO of Lazada Indonesia. After Lazada was sold to Alibaba he left and founded Stilt Studios in 2019 to build sustainable modular homes at scale to bring more sustainability and efficiencies to the building sector. Until today they built over 50 houses with their international expansion under way. He is a happy father of 2 sons, his wife is Indonesian and they call Indonesia their home. Family aside, he loves doing sports and traveling.
