Growing up on a self-sufficient organic farm in Maine, we had to get our hands dirty and live without a manual from a very young age. Grit, failing well, and creative problem-solving were not just virtues, they were survival skills! Transferring this to my 19-years in education, I’ve taught Life Skills, English Literature, worked in nature-immersions, and run international schools in Hong Kong, Hawaii, and Java. Last year, we moved to Bali so that my son could join GS. My current passion project is understanding creative intelligence – I believe it’s the key to thriving in an unknown future.
