Laughing Yoga – Astungkara Way

Ibu Bu Tatik invites you to a session of intense laughter followed by one of her signature local plant-based lunches at the Astungkara Way Regenerative Farming Learning Centre. Come with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to let go. Laughing Yoga combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing techniques (Pranayama) which brings more oxygen to our body and brain making us feel more energetic and healthy.

Out in the rice paddies of Subak Uma Lambing a regenerative movement is underway. Astungkara Way is working on connecting humans with nature and drawing them closer to the source of their food. Bu Tatik is the chef, she turns freshly harvested plants and turning them into delicious and nourishing dishes.

As a Balinese Ibu Bu Tatik has more roles and responsibilities than most mere mortals can fathom with hardly any time to get a good night’s sleep. And yet she somehow manages to show up to the rice paddies preparing beautiful meals for our farm tours with limitless energy and infectious laughter. Her secret: laughing yoga.
