We are absolutely thrilled to announce another delightful PechaKucha event at The Bridge! It brings us immense joy to gather as a community and showcase the incredible talents that abound within Green School and beyond.
The PechaKucha 20×20 format involves a dynamic presentation with 20 slides, each automatically advancing every 20 seconds. Presenters have a total of 400 seconds to share their story, creating a fast-paced, visually-driven narrative
Our enthusiasm knows no bounds as we prepare to revel in the creativity that defines our community. We’ve curated an inspiring lineup that promises an unforgettable experience. This is your golden ticket to not only witness remarkable stories unfold but also to engage with fellow community members and simply bask in the joy of shared inspiration and camaraderie. Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and pure fun!

Born in Singapore and raised in the diverse landscapes of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for global perspectives and local solutions. My passion for teaching stems from a desire to empower students to recognize their potential in shaping a better world. I firmly believe in the importance of bridging local issues with global solutions. Recently, I’ve discovered poetry as a means to express my experiences, travels, and insights into the world around me. Through my words, I strive to inspire and provoke thought, fostering connections across cultures and borders.
Renato Silva:
I’m just a lucky average guy from countryside Brazil who got the chance to spend ~60% of his adult life living abroad in Thailand, Denmark, Belgium, Venezuela, Ecuador, and more recently in Indonesia.
From humble beginnings selling granola at school to pay for my exchange student program in Denmark in my mid-teens, I could have never imagined that this experience would have such a profound impact in the rest of my life. And one tragicomic episode in that year in Denmark has set my mindset that led me to a fairly successful career in tech, in logistics and now hopefully in climate change too: the mindset to “just keep walking”, despite the challenges of life.
Come and join me for a laugh or two when I share this impactful, funny, and disastrous story from when I was 16 years old (long, long time ago… 
). It is a story that still drives me today!

The Living Bridge is a project that facilitates collaboration, activation, and connection among all members of our incredible community. Guided by Jonathan Mizzi, a world-class Biophilic Architect, Green School parent, and an inspirational mentor to multiple high school students.
The Living Bridge embodies every facet of an experiential Green School education, encapsulating the rich past, vibrant present, and promising future of Green School. We will delve into the ongoing narrative of celebrating, connecting, and activating our entire community of learners, recognizing your crucial role in this educational evolution for our young learners!
Your presence at this event supports The Living Bridge project: for students, it unlocks opportunities; for parents, it enhances the community experience. Together, we bridge the gap—creating a gateway site and fostering a vibrant community. Join us in investing in aspirations and building a world of opportunities at The Bridge!
