Nathalie Dereau

All my life I was a female overachiever in a man’s world – highly stressed, chasing numbers, while always trying to please others. I had this idea that I needed to work hard in order to make things happen in my life. Becoming a mom, I quickly realized that this workaholic lifestyle wasn’t aligned and things HAD to change – I decided to take a big risk and start again from zero moving to Turkey. But soon things began to fall apart…  A few years later, I decided to move to Bali. Many said I was crazy to even consider coming here as a single mum with 2 kids, but it soon became our home.

Over the years I began to regain some balance – establishing a grounded yoga practice and in many ways, I felt much better than in my old life. Nevertheless, as a parent I was still too reactive, trapped in my thoughts. That was when I discovered Conscious Connected Breathing. Thanks to breathwork, I’m more aware of my emotions, more comfortable asking for & receiving support. It is a powerful tool for a reset as a parent. Overall, this practice has given me more balance in life. Yoga had laid the foundation – but it was breathwork that brought me to that next level!
