Description and contextualization of disability in Bali from a socio-cultural-religious point of view. Introducing the Humanitarian Work of Hands With Heart Foundation providing free healthcare to underprivileged children with disabilities living in social exclusion on the Island.
Hands with Heart Foundation is a registered Charity that offers free healthcare from a multidisciplinary approach to underprivileged children and adults with disabilities. Since 2016 HwH has been present in Bali and eventually started to expand to other countries. Right now is present in Argentina, Bali, Costa Rica, and Romania. Treating children from indigenous communities, orphans with disabilities, and poor families. Dr. Jorge Aranda is the Founder and CEO, he was born in Spain, studies Osteopathic Medicine in London, continued his studies with a Master’s in Pediatric Osteopathy in San Diego – California, and got his Ph.D. in Rome, Italy. He teaches at the University of Murcia, Spain, and also at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
