Barnabas was a high school student when he decided he’ll become an entrepreneur. He will share his epic journey of ups and downs, joyful moments, and hard decisions on becoming a crypto pioneer in his home country.
Barnabas Debreczeni is a serial entrepreneur and investor who started writing computer code at the age of 5. In the past 20 years, he founded and helped build a dozen startups. He launched one of Europe’s first Bitcoin ATM networks and founded Hungary’s first cryptocurrency brokerage (MrCoin) which he sold in 2021. As an avid supporter of decentralized protocols, one of his major stunts was to mine Ethereum’s very first (genesis) block. Before working full-time on crypto he took the role of Global CTO for TerraCycle, a US company on a mission to recycle the unrecyclable. Barnabas is a Founding Partner at Reaction, a VC with Stanford roots that invests in proven leaders with world-changing potential and helps them scale their impactful innovations globally.
