Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for householders, for people who have to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families, and managing businesses. It is a path for everyone who wants the skills to cope successfully with the challenges of our times. In our practice, we use different techniques( breath, asanas, body locks, mudras( hand postures), mantras, and visualization to help our body relax, restore, regenerate cells, rejuvenate our nervous system, release energy blockages and stress, gain self-confidence, open up hearts, feel peace and love. Each class is different with new exercises and new techniques but there are also repeating elements. There are exercises, breathing, and voice techniques to activate the endocrine system, work with nervous and lymphatic systems, help in digestion, work with the heart center and lungs, special exercises for women and the reproductive system, etc.
Join Yana every Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Yoga Studio.
Each class is 90min. We use music while practicing and singing mantras.
