WELLBEING WEEK – A Walk on the Wild Side – Belinda Sircombe-Jellett
September 30, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
To kick off our well-being week experience, join us for a walk that will take us off the paved road, along the river and wherever else we end up before we return back to the field at Green School. This beautiful stroll will set the scene for our whole week. It will take you on an unusual journey of depth and emotion. It will have different layers with a little magic weaved in.
As a whole-body experience, rather than a ‘fitness’ walk, you won’t need fancy trainers, a sweatband or a high-performance t-shirt…
Just wear whatever you feel good to walk in. Bring a hat, plenty of water and a simple hardback (or something to lean on) journal and a pen/pencil.
The walk itself will last 1 hour, but the experience as a whole will be just under 2 hours.
Quite by accident, Belinda’s career started in motor racing. This love affair lasted for almost 15 years where she worked in both the World Rally Championship and Formula 1. Together with a team of top sports professionals, Belinda created the first-ever high-performance program for elite drivers, merging fitness, nutrition, and psychology.
Belinda eventually left the fast lane to start a family. In a quest for adventure and nature, they quickly moved from the UK to the sunnier climate of Singapore, and subsequently, Bali. In her quest to support people to reach their highest potential, she set about creating Wild Health.
In her words: ‘I want people to fall in love with the process of being fit and strong’. For this reason, the foundation for Wild Health is about play, camaraderie, and support. And so, not surprisingly, is Belinda. She also feels passionate about women regaining and retaining their zest for a life well into their middle years and beyond.
