Be among the first people across the world to experience the amazing stories of Empathy Week 2022!
Empathy Week is a global schools program that uses the power of film to develop the skill of empathy and leadership in young people across the world. In just two years (and through covid) we’ve managed to engage 100,000 students in schools across 40+ countries and 6 continents!
Our mission is to build an ‘Empathy Generation’ – a generation of students who leave school with the ultimate leadership skill of empathy. The skill to understand not only others but themselves and navigate their own personal and professional lives successfully whilst making the world a better place.
So how do we play our role in achieving this?
Each year we make 5 beautiful films about incredible people and deliver them through the Empathy Week program. This year the theme is ‘Passion and Purpose’ and focuses on 5 individuals from across the UK. Dami, Lipa, Kwasi, James, and Courtney. Their stories are powerful insights into their lives and cover themes such as racism, the power of sport, immigration, resilience, leadership, having Downs Syndrome, gender equality, mental health, and more.
(Note: Each film is edited and differentiated for ages 11-18, 8-10, and 5-7-year-olds. This screening will only feature the 11-18-year-old films)
At a glance the Empathy Week program consists of:
🎥 5 human films, 5 realities, and 5 different perspectives
❤️ Differentiated resources for all ages from 5 to 18 years old
🌍 One massive global ‘Empathy Action Project’
🏫 Primary and Secondary curriculum for 2022
