WORKSHOP – Pre Teen Parent (6 Sessions) – Merissa Jennings-Turner
September 9, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Pre Teens are pushing boundaries and starting to care more about what their friends think than their parents. They can seem independent and want more freedom, this is the time for parents to shore their attachment and foster deep emotional relationships and take back natural leadership. This 6 session workshop is an invitation to dig deeper into your values and beliefs that are guiding you as a parent and to examine how your child is doing.
We will discuss screen time, vaping, lying, emotional outbreaks, homework battles, sibling rivalry, pushing boundaries and bulling… any areas you feel your family is struggling with, we will address them and you will learn the skills needed to take back natural leadership and create closer deeper relationships.
Merissa Jennings-Turner is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, a Trauma Therapist, and Parent Coach. She is a mother to a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old and has been married for 23 years.
