WORKSHOP – Hold onto your kids – Merissa Turner
November 21, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:15 am
An event every week that begins at 8:30 am on Thursday, repeating until December 12, 2019
In this workshop, we will tackle one of the most disturbing and misunderstood trends of our time…. peers replacing parents in the lives of our children. The dangers of having our children looking to their peers for direction, for a sense of right and wrong, for values, identity, and codes of behaviour. Peer orientation undermines family cohesion, poisons the school atmosphere, and fosters an aggressively hostile and sexualized youth culture.
Through the lens of developmental science, we will find solutions that will move you back into the driver’s seat and leading your children.
