Kania Maniasa is a Balinese who moved to the United States to follow her parents pursuing a career as a journalist in Washington D.C. As an immigrant, she was exposed to the working environment at a very young age. Working her first part-time job at a county library at age 15. Academically, Kania won the Ambassador Award for Excellence and graduated university Summa cum laude as a Senator of the Student Body. After 12 years of living abroad, Kania felt the need to come back to Bali, to give back to the community and make an impact on the future of her island through her role as Chief of Philanthropy and Development at the Green School.

Kiki Amirulla – Makassar bred, but able to speak multiple languages including English, Spanish, and French like a native! She moved to Bali almost 5 years ago after living in Vancouver, Canada more than half a decade. A Green Camp veteran, Kiki is fundamental to the development of our programs to include sustainability learning and a lot of fun.

Tim Fijal is the Team Coordinator of Astungkara Way. A local-to-global movement-building healthier soil and ecosystems by connecting humans with nature and the source of the food we eat. He was previously the Founder/Director of Kul Kul Connection at Green School, an initiative that bridged the local and international communities to collaborate on sustainability initiatives.
