Our Speakers
Tungga Dewi – With a profound commitment to women’s empowerment, Tungga has a deep understanding of the consequences of period poverty & gender inequality and has pioneered solutions that marry sustainability with comfort and dignity. Her approach has educated over 12,000 women and girls, distributed 49,000 pieces of reusable menstrual products, and diverted 5 million single-use pads from landfills, significantly reducing environmental waste.
Ratih Pertiwi – is Saraswati’s Research Lead and is a public health/development practitioner who has been working with the community in Indonesia, particularly in Papua since 2009. Her work is mostly concerned with adolescent health, gender and women’s health, WASH, health equity, and the intersectionality between the health of people and the environment.
