Come on a walk from the bridge at Green School to the verdant rice paddies of Subak Uma Lambing with Tim Fijal and the Astungkara Way team. Learn about and participate in the regenerative movement that is underway right next door to the Green School campus. Please write if you have any food allergies on the additional Information.

Regenerative FARM TOUR Program

8:30 – 9:00 Gather at The Bridge, co-working space.

9:00 – 10:00 Guided tour of the Community Garden with a focus on the role of soil and

how to improve soil health, composting, and plant combinations
10:00 – 10:20 Break for Balinese snacks and tea made from garden plants, flowers and

herbs
10:20 – 11:00 Brief introduction to the 5 Principles of Regenerative Agriculture. Hands-on

activities: Planting seedlings, Making seedling balls, Building a compost pile, and

what to do with it.
11:00 – 11:20 Balinese ritual and prayer at the Subak Temple
11:20 – 11:50 Preparing cassava plant roots to make chips
11:50 – 12:20 Balinese vegetarian lunch, cooked onsite by our local chef. A delicious

combination of greens, cooked and raw vegetables, roots, and our locally

grown organic rice (nasi campur)
12:20 – 12:45 Guided session of Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, an ancient technique to enter

deep states of conscious relaxation where the body enters a healing state,

clears up toxins at a cellular level and the mind is refreshed
12:45 – 13:30 Making bracelets from Jali-Jali (Adlay millet) seeds that participants can

take home and closing thoughts
