What exactly is neurodiversity, and how does a better understanding of it benefit all parents, teachers, and our young learners? From the perspective of a neurologist and seasoned homeschooler of neurodiverse students, we will explore definitions, current understandings of the biological basis, and practical approaches to think about the amazing ways our brains are wired. We will discuss neuroanatomy, specific learning differences, and ADHD/ADD.
