WORKSHOP – Hold onto your kids – Merissa Turner

November 21, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 10:15 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:30 am on Thursday, repeating until December 12, 2019

In this workshop, we will tackle one of the most disturbing and misunderstood trends of our timeā€¦. peers replacing parents in the lives of our children. The dangers of having our children looking to their peers for direction, for a sense of right and wrong, for values, identity, and codes of behaviour. Peer orientation undermines family cohesion, poisons the school atmosphere, and fosters an aggressively hostile and sexualized youth culture.

Through the lens of developmental science, we will find solutions that will move you back into the driver’s seat and leading your children.

Skills developed

Development attachment theory and how to win your children back from their peers, and back to taking their cues from you. You will learn the science of emotion and how to facilitate the adaptation process. Understanding the role the nervous system plays. Clear understanding of the maturation process and how to facilitate the natural unfolding of maturity

Course outcomes

This course will help you make sense of your child from the inside out, through developmental science.
