Vasco Croft was born in Lisbon, year 1962. After graduating in Architecture in his home town, his interest in Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy led him to move England in the nineties, for studying Waldorf education and sculpture. Back to Portugal, Vasco became the leader of the local Steiner school movement. He ran a school and founded a complete teacher training program, laying the foundations for this mode of education in his country. Alongside, Vasco created and ran his own company of furniture design. In 2004 he revitalizes an abandoned farm, in his family since the 17th century, with a biodynamic wine project – Aphros Wine – which has achieved worldwide recognition and is present in over 20 different countries.
