WORKSHOP – The Home Gardening – Orin, Maria and The Kul Kul Farm Team
September 14, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
We believe that everyone who eats food and cares about sustainability should understand and experience the growth of food. Food is such a huge part of our daily life. We spend copious time and money browsing the best restaurants, health food stores, and farmers’ markets to get our hands on good food. YET, so few of us know anything about how this food was grown.
We believe that every chef, home cook, sustainability activist, nature lover, yogi, teacher, parent, and anyone who eats food, should understand the energy, time, patience, skill, resources, intelligence, and love it takes to grow food ethically. We’re convinced that it’s the only way to truly respect our earth, this land, our home, and our farmers. Even if you don’t own land, understanding the process is absolutely necessary.
So!! How to get informed about the food you eat every day?
Join Orin and The Kul Kul Farm Team, on their 1.5 hector organic gardens and education space for a hands-on workshop learning how to grow organic vegetables and salad greens on the home scale.

We started The Kul Kul Farm 4 years ago with the intention of inspiring and empowering both local Balinese and international visitors to live a life connected to the natural world and traditional ways of living. We work with an incredible team of Indonesian food producers, educators, herbalists, cooks, bamboo builders, and entrepreneurs. Together we host tours, workshops, retreats, and lunches.
