Photos & Video
Please be aware that the voices performances contain sensitive content both in topics and sometimes in the personalization of content to authors and performers. It’s also a sensitive time to be holding events of any kind and our continued ability to do so will be impacted if we are not discrete. For both reasons, please ensure any photographs or videos are for your own personal use and not shared broadly on social media or in any other forum. When in doubt, just share with friends and family. Thank you for your understanding!
All proceeds going to Bali Street Mums Project and KIM Women’s Centre
Bali Street Mums Project
Founded by a Green School parent inspired by past GS VDay collaborations, the Bali Street Mums Project aims to end the cycle of impoverished mums, begging children, and human trafficking in Bali. The project takes a holistic approach, providing safe housing/food, counseling, education, and economic opportunities for mums and children at risk. https://balistreetmums.org/
PKP Women’s Centre
The PKP Women’s Centre has an overall goal to facilitate female empowerment and gender equality for Balinese women and girls in the local area. The center empowers women by facilitating job skills training and support programs like cooking and English class. But most importantly, the women’s center provides a safe haven for divorced women who are generally highly stigmatized and ostracized in the community.
