We’d love to introduce you to the ‘peace in oneself, peace in the world’ approach by our beloved Thay (teacher) Thich Nhat Hanh, who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and was honored by the naming of the Center for Mindfulness at Harvard University in 2023. Thay’s NY Times best-selling book ‘Anger: Wisdom for Cooling the Flames,’ released just four days before 9/11, arrived as a timely and profound resource. Offering invaluable insights and practical techniques, it has supported millions of Americans in navigating the complex emotions surrounding the 9/11 attacks.

We are Wake up Sangha Bali, one of 1000+ communities (Sanghas) of Mindfulness practitioners following the Plum Village Tradition, a Zen meditation practice rooted in the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, who is lovingly called the father of Mindfulness. We gather 2-3 times a month in Pererenan to engage in mindful singing, meditation, reading, sharing, and communal eating.

This time, we lovingly bring Wake up Sangha to the beloved Green School community. Lunch is vegan, fresh, gluten-free, and dairy-free, catered by the amazing PKP community. Kindly RSVP to help us prepare sustainably.
