Breaking Barriers: A Story of Struggle and Strength
February 24 @ 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm

This open community event is most suitable for older middle to high school students and adults. Topics related to human rights violations will be discussed.
This is your very special invitation to experience two precious and inspirational stories of a lifetime. Rabia, a displaced Afghan refugee who has lived in Indonesia for over 15 years will share her personal perspective on human rights. Rabia brings first-hand experience to our understanding of the violation of women’s rights and the refugee experience in Indonesia.
Then we will meet Zaki. The head of the organization HELP for refugees, Zaki shares insights on his life and journey towards solutions at HELP.
It is not every day that we have the opportunity to learn about these topics first-hand. So join us, as global citizens, to learn, be moved, inspired, and motivated by our special guests.
Location: Sangkep
This talk is happening at Sangkep, but we will live stream it also!
