SUMMARY:AI and Language Learning: A Green School Alumnus’ Startup Quest - Tomas Vallejo
DESCRIPTION:Tomas\, a 2020 Green School alumnus\, returned to Bali after studying Global Economics in Germany. For the past eight months\, he has been on an entrepreneurial journey\, developing a new way to learn languages with the help of AI. Through a short pitch-style presentation\, Tomas will share the challenges and opportunities he has encountered in his first startup project. He will then open the floor for discussion\, feedback\, and support to explore the transformative impact of AI on language learning. \nThis talk will be happening at The Bridge\, but we will Livestream it also.\nLINK TO THE CALL \nLike many Green Schoolers\, Tomas has lived an international life\, moving between countries and immersing himself in diverse cultures. Despite various efforts to learn local languages\, he often struggled to communicate fluently. This persistent challenge led him to question whether there could be a better way to learn. Inspired by breakthroughs in AI technology and recognizing a need within himself and the international community\, Tomas embarked on his entrepreneurial journey to develop more effective language learning methods.
